About Kathy
Kathy is a self-described avid, shameless people watcher, which drew her to focusing on interpersonal communication as her life’s work. She has witnessed the up side and the down side of how people work through their differences, and the impact it has on relationships – both personal and in the workplace. She provides clients with the tools to experience the value of healthy conflict. After all, conflict happens. We might as well harness it!
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Aquinas College, and her Masters degree in Communication Arts from Grand Valley State University (GVSU).
Along with collaborator and partner, Heather Hollick, Kathy created and facilitated an anti-racism series that was offered to her community free of charge in 2022.
She serves on the Homeowners Services committee at Habitat for Humanity – Grand Traverse. She has served as a volunteer community mediator, and has completed over 200 hours of mediation training. She has also supported a number of non-profit organizations as a board member, and is an active member of Impact 100 TC.
Kathy lives in the Traverse City area with her husband, and loves to spend time with family and friends, on the water, trail riding, and camping in her vintage camper, Bonfire Bessie.
Why "Evergrowth?"
Kathy carefully chose the name EverGROWTH Consulting because of the symbolism shared by trees and people. Trees represent resilience and strength. They have seasons of growth and regeneration. They have roots that run deep. They evolve. There is predictability, yet uncertainty.
